Japanese-born, New York City-based, Fumibella has been creating and collaborating with an international array of artists as a singer, songwriter and producer.

Fumibella has written, produced or remixed songs that have had great success in Japan and the U.S. She wrote “Sunday Park” (sung by Chara, EMI) for the Japanese Academy Award-winning movie “Swallowtail” and saw it reach No.1 on the Japanese album charts. Her song "Hikari", sung by Yoriko, became the theme music for a popular Japanese TV series in 2005 and her co-write “Sun Shines On”

performed by Soul Bossa Trio was used as the theme song for a TV sports show.

Fumibella also reached No. 11 on the US Billboard Dance Chart as remixer on “ Beautiful Day”, by Jackie Christie. In 2004, Fumibella also co-produced five songs for the album “ Italia” (released in France) including two sung by Sabina before she went on to fame as lead singer of the Brazilian Girls.

In 2009, Fumibella produced “I Need Your Fire” for Yokohama-based, reggae superstar, Chozen Lee of Fireball (Universal Records). She joined Chozen Lee on stage for performances in Tokyo and Yokohama during his “Rize Up” Tour in 2010.

On Christmas Eve 2011, Fumibella released the single,  “Come to Me”, from her first EP "TIme Will Tell" , which featured Dizzle. In September 2013, she wrote and produced "Starlight", which was released as Dizzle's first single, contributing largely to his great success.  In March 2014, Dizzle, commissioned Fumibella to produce 2 songs for his remix album which featured reggae artists, Thunder and Ram Head. Soon after, in May, Dizzle released his second album and again Fumibella contributed to its success, co-writing and producing 2 songs.

In 2012 Fumibella was the only Japanese artist to be a part of the song, “We Are One Japan” . With proceeds going to aid post-tsunami relief efforts the album features reggae stars - including Voicemail and Pressure - who wanted to repay some of the love and support Japan has always shown for reggae music.

Currently, while Fumibella is working with various artists in the pop, R&B Hiphop and reggae genres, from the U.S. and Japan,  she is also working on her second solo album.
